Very enjoyable place to stay. The owners run the place and are extremely helpful. Nice hot tub and pool. Good breakfast.
Quaint local lodge with friendly staff and clean rooms. This lodge is pet friendly and utilizes evaporative (swamp) cooler technology to save energy as well as window air conditioners. The pool was a nice relief from the heat and is open 24 hours.
I stopped late in the evening without a reservation and found a room, didn't know what to expect. The room was very plain and could have used a major overhaul, but quiet and set in a lovely place near a river--with access to trails along the river. The staff was friendly and helpful. A big breakfast is included, wonderful as long as you're not gluten-intolerant. If I return to this location I'll stay here again. Good value for the dollar.
