I ordered a vegetable Panini that was supposed to be smothered in melted cheese. It was cold and there was a tiny cold slice of fake cheese thrown under the vegetables and the French fries were stone cold. We also had to wait about 25 minutes before our food was even brought. The owner was walking by and I asked him if I could have some ranch dressing for my French fries and he looked at my husband’s plate where there was a tiny cup of blue cheese dressing and said “you have ranch dressing”. I said, “That is his dressing for his salad, I would like some ranch dressing for myself please”. He went and got it and was very rude when he came back and I asked about the melted cheese not being there and the cold French fries.
Food was fine, dining experience was pleasant and the gift shop has some nice items.
He immediately told us to get out of his restaurant! He said if you don’t like our food just get out and I’m going to stand right here until you get out of your seats and get out of here. We were so shocked that we could hardly believe our ears. We were very polite about what we said. We were also mortified and embarrassed. I handed the waitress a tip and we quietly left as the owner stood with his fists clenched as if he were threatening to hit us any moment. My husband said he was so shocked that later he wished he would have told him off. We wanted the experience to be fun and that man ruined the last day of our vacation.
Met good people from nearby Aneth, stay over a few days visiting, touring n eating good food. Beautiful country! Wanna live there...thanks Lavina K.
Drive back in on the dirt road to get some fantastic scenery.
We loved this place. Best food we had all week long on vacation. Older daughter begged me to find recipe for Navajo fry bread! Definitely eat here!!!
Horrible :( Not sure why there were so many good reviews... I guess these people never met the owner... We were seated and asked if we could go ahead and order an appetizer and the waitress said no not until I get your drinks.. OK well then the Navajo fry bread appetizer was dry and burnt. Then they brought our food and my husband's tacos had so much grease that it poured out on the table when he took a bite.
